My journey with photography began over 20 years ago, photographing bands at gigs before moving into a studio setting where I photographed families, newborns, and children of all ages.

I loved working with children so much that I became a teaching assistant, thinking I might one day become a teacher – but my camera always called me back. After my first child was born, I realised that photography wasn’t just a job for me, it was my passion. I once ran a 1950s pin-up and retro-inspired studio in Southend-on-Sea, but with the arrival of my second baby, I stepped away to embrace motherhood fully.

Now that all my children are school age, I’ve returned to photography with a heart full of inspiration and a vision that blends vintage charm with the pure magic of childhood. Through My Huckleberry Lens, I invite you to step into a little world where memories become heirlooms and photographs feel like fairytales come to life.
